Girls Volleyball returns to the Triton Event Center this week as they kick off their 2024-2025 season against Palm Desert High School. Entering their tenth year, the Tritons are ready for another exciting and competitive season. Director of Girls Volleyball Ron Cheser returns for his second year at the helm after leading the Orange and Navy to a successful record of 17-9 last year. Alongside him is Associate Head Coach Amanda Ammann who enters her third year and newly added Natalie Flexen serving as a varsity assistant coach. 

The Tritons are full of experience this season, with eleven upperclassmen and only three lowerclassmen. Players to watch include Senior Captains Kaelin Rieke (C) and Chara Wondercheck (C). Both are four-year varsity players who bring ample amounts of talent, leadership, and stability to the team. Rieke and Wondercheck are strong on the net offensively and defensively and will be a force for the Orange and Navy this year. Other seniors on the squad are Charlotte Carlson (C), Gia Gale, Delaney Peterson, and London Wilson. The junior class returns five players including Emma Hartman, Addie Roberson (C), Charlotte Booth, Emery Heal, and Sophia Bone. Sierra Leeper is the only sophomore on the squad and the Tritons welcome two freshmen to the roster, Hadley O'Neil and Mercy Russell.

All home games will be broadcast on NFHS. The Orange and Navy will compete in the San Joaquin League this year against TVT, CVCS, Southlands Christian, and Western Christian. First Friday is on Friday, August 30th at 2:00 pm and Dig Pink/Senior Night is on Tuesday, October 15th vs CVCS. CIF Divisional Rankings will be released at the end of the season based on the 2024-2025 performance per the new system.
