Pacifica Christian Girls Volleyball improved to 4-0 tonight after defeating Southlands Christian three sets to none at home. The Tritons came out strong sweeping the visiting Eagles 25-15, 25-15, and 25-18.

The Orange and Navy were never really threatened at any point, taking charge from the service line. Sophomore setter Addie Roberson had seven aces, followed by Junior Chara Wondercheck with six aces. Senior Colleen O'Callaghan helped offset the Southlands outsider hitters' attack, never giving them an opportunity to make a run with four solo blocks and two assists.  Junior Kaelin Rieke was at Colleen's side up on the net all night as she had a team-high six solo blocks, the two captains combing for ten on the evening. 

The Triton offense was run through Addie Roberson, as she dished out 38 assists, spreading the ball evenly and disrupting the Eagles  6'2 middle blocker. When asked about tonight's performance, Coach Cheser stated, "Our setter Addie has been solid this season. She is very athletic and strong, she makes difficult passes look easy to set and gives us so many opportunities most setters couldn't provide." 

The Orange and Navy will be on the road on Thursday, August 24 at Whittier Christian. Start time is 6:15pm.
