The Girl's Volleyball team returns to the court for its eighth season as a varsity program. Landing a spot on the CIF-SS Division 5 pre-season watch list, the Orange and Navy are led by Ron Cheser who is entering his first season as the new Director of Girls Volleyball. Cheser is joined by assistant coaches Amanda Ammann and Sean McDaniel. When asked about the upcoming season Cheser stated, "The Triton girls' volleyball program opens a new chapter this year and I am excited to be a part of the new leadership. The goals are simple, yet takes tons of hard work, focus, and dedication to achieve. This group brings that and more, they are unselfish, talented, and athletic. Expect nothing less than a solid season from these young ladies. we will take care of the little things to help bring consistency in the big moments."

Players to watch this season include Senior Captain Colleen O'Callaghan who is the point of the Triton's spear. The 5'9 opposite solidifies an already talented front row. Her leadership exemplifies what Pacifica is all about on the court and off. Junior Chara Wondercheck is entering her third season on the varsity squad. Her athleticism and power up on the net will provide havoc for opponents. Chara was named All CIF-SS Division 7 Team last year.  The Triton's offense begins with juniors Wondercheck and Captain Kaelin Rieke. Freshman Sierra Leeper adds a quick attack on the outside and sophomore Addie Roberson will be a steady force up on the net.  Her setting abilities are solid and her mature decision-making on the court is amazing. Roberson was also named All CIF-SS Division 7 last year. Lastly, junior libero Charlotte Carlson adds depth in the back row.

With only two seniors on the team, the squad is young and full of excitement. First Friday will be held on Friday, September 1 at 2:00 pm versus Fairmont Prep. Dig Pink and senior night will be held on October 9th in the Triton Event Center. The squad was runner-up last season in CIF in Division 7.
