Charis Wondercheck Tied for 12th in Southern Section for 100M Hurdles
Senior Track and Field athlete Charis Wondercheck has continued to show her dominance out on the track this season. In her junior season, Charis won the San Joaquin League title in the 100M Hurdles as well as took first place in the OC Championship Race back in March of 2022.
Wondercheck’s senior season has not disappointed. After five races thus far, Charis has finished first place in three races, including her most recent performance at the Tiger Invitational at South Pasadena High School where she set a new personal and school record with a time of 14.86 seconds. With this time, Wondercheck is now tied for 12th for the 100M Hurdles in the Southern Section and is tied for 19th in the state of California. She also sits in sixth place in Division 4 for this event.
Charis will run the 100M Hurdles at 9:15 am this Saturday, April 15th at the Orange County Championships. The race will take place at Mission Viejo High School.
