Pacifica Christian Girls Tennis continued its strong start, defeating Valley Christian 12–6 this afternoon to improve to 4–2 on the season. The win marks the Tritons' second victory over Valley Christian this week, capping a stretch of gritty, heat-filled matches.

"They battled hard in the heat this week, securing their second win against Valley Christian. What stood out to me was not only their fight on the court, but also their sportsmanship and the time they took to build friendships with the other team. I'm impressed with the girls' determination to win while also showing true Christian values through kindness and respect for their opponents," said Director of Tennis Jennifer Jolin.

The Tritons now turn their attention to a road test this weekend in the San Diego area against San Dieguito High School, before returning home for their second San Joaquin League match of the year versus TVT on Tuesday, September 9.

Pacifica Christian has established itself as a league power in recent seasons winning two of the last three league championships and advancing to the CIF-SS Final in 2022. With a deep, hard-working roster, the Tritons have high hopes of bringing another league title back to Newport Beach this fall.
