The Girl's Soccer team returns to the field this year and is ready to get back in action as they have moved up in CIF once again and are now in Division 4. The squad is led by Brandon Gonzalez who is entering his ninth year as Head Coach. The team also has a new goalkeeper coach this year, Maddie Morris, who is currently a goalkeeper at Vanguard University.  When asked about the upcoming season, Coach Gonzalez remarked, "We have a great core senior class returning for their final season at Pacifica Christian. The team is eager to get back out on the field and represent our school well. Playing in one of the hardest small school leagues in Southern California, I am excited to see what this group will accomplish this season."

Players to watch include Senior captain Chloe Nguyen who is the leader in midfield and one of the most reliable players. This will be her third year wearing the captain band for the Tritons. Chloe is steady on the ball and will be a playmaker in midfield. She holds a handful of offers to compete at the collegiate level. In addition, Sophomore forward Lana Stewart is a force to be reckoned with. Lana is already catching the eyes of a handful of Division 1 schools and she is looking to break her own school record of 33 goals in a season last year. 

All home games will be played at Vanguard University and the team has the largest senior class in program history. The Tritons will also compete in the Best in the West Tournament in December against some solid local competition.
