The Pacifica Christian Girl's Golf team kicked off their fifth season Wednesday afternoon as they took on the Eagles of Estancia High School. The match took place at Costa Mesa Country Club where the Tritons beat the Eagles by a final score of 270-277. 

The Tritons were led by Junior Sam Davidson. Davidson, a top player for the Tritons last year had the low score on the day shooting 45 earning herself Medalist Honors for the round. Just a few shots behind Sam was Senior Nat Ferdi. Nat posted a solid 49 and teammate Kaitlyn Dion posted a 55. Rounding things out for the Orange and Navy were Senior Savannah Moorwod and Sophomore Isabella Samson who shot 59 and 62 respectively. 

"Very proud of the team," remarks Head Coach Jeff Anderson "These girls work very hard at practice and I am happy to start the season with a win. We hope to carry this momentum into our next match!"

The Tritons will be on the road today August 25th at Rio Hondo Golf Course where they will face off against the Defenders of Valley Christian at 4:30.
