Pacifica Christian Boys Volleyball delivered an exciting performance on its home court in the Triton Event Center as the Tritons battled highly ranked Santa Margarita in an exciting matchup Friday evening. In his second year at the helm, Coach Cory continues to build a competitive and cohesive group, and that growth was on display as the Tritons pushed a strong Santa Margarita squad throughout the match. Despite losing in the fifth set, the team showed they can compete with some of the top talent in the area. 

Senior Ryan Pearson led the Tritons offensively with a standout performance, recording 21 kills while also contributing nine digs on the defensive end. Pearson's ability to deliver in key moments helped keep Pacifica within striking distance. Junior Kallai Kumar also had an impressive night, finishing with 15 kills and three service aces, providing another consistent scoring option and helping spark several momentum swings for the home team.

Senior Grayson Baker added to the balanced attack with 12 kills, giving the Tritons another reliable presence at the net. Running the offense was senior Atticus Graham, who distributed the ball effectively all evening and finished with 48 assists while also adding three aces from the service line. His leadership and decision-making helped the Tritons maintain pressure on Santa Margarita throughout the match.

At the net, Sherman Martinez made his presence felt defensively with three solo blocks, helping the Tritons slow Santa Margarita's attack at critical moments. Pacifica Christian showed heart and grit, coming together to challenge one of the area's top programs. With little time to rest after the hard-fought match, the Tritons quickly turned their focus to the road ahead, traveling to Santa Barbara to compete in the Dos Pueblos Tournament this weekend.
