The Pacifica Christian Tritons Boys Volleyball team opened the 2026 season in dominant fashion, earning a convincing 3–0 sweep over Jordan High School. From the first serve to match point, the Tritons displayed composure, energy, and confidence, setting the tone for what they hope will be another strong campaign this spring.

Pacifica controlled the match throughout, securing set victories of 25–13, 25–19, and 25–17. The Tritons' balanced attack, disciplined defense, and consistent serving pressure kept Jordan from finding any sustained momentum, allowing Pacifica to stay firmly in command from start to finish.

The offensive rhythm was orchestrated by Atticus Graham, who distributed 33 assists while adding three digs on the defensive end. Senior Ryan Pearson led the attack with 13 kills and two aces, consistently finding seams in Jordan's defense. Tanner Nehrig contributed eight kills of his own, providing another reliable scoring option at the net. Junior transfer Otto Briggs anchored the back row with eight digs and added two aces from the service line, helping keep pressure on Jordan throughout the match.

Now in his second season at the helm, Head Coach Cory Swartzbaugh continues to build on the program's momentum following last year's impressive CIF Quarterfinal appearance. With a deeper roster and growing experience, the Tritons are aiming to take another step forward this season and position themselves for a meaningful postseason run.

The Tritons return to action this Friday when they host Nova Academy, looking to build on their early success and continue their strong start to the season.
