On April 29th, 2026, Pacifica Christian Boys Volleyball played an astonishing game against Etiwanda High School to advance to CIF-SS Round 2 of Division 6! The boys capitalized on every opportunity that they could to put the ball away and secure the win. They took charge from the beginning, winning the first set 25-16, but they didn’t stop there. The Tritons stayed consistent winning the second set 25-16 and topped it off by sweeping in the third set 25-19. As soon as the Eagles started gaining momentum, the Tritons completely shut it down and executed the right plays to secure points. 

Every player on the team contributed in different ways, whether it be cheering and motivating from the bench to delivering the set winning kill, everyone played a part. The Tritons’ steadiness on offense was something that should not go unnoticed. Sophomore Quinn McIntee’s court IQ is truly admirable. He finished the game with a total of 14 kills on the right side, consistently finding weaknesses in the opposing defense. He also acquired 3 blocks and 4 aces, demonstrating his ability to contribute in every aspect of the game. Another standout player was Senior Ryan Pearson, whose dominating swing kept opponents off balance every time, as shown by his 10 kills on the outside. 

Although the hitters did an outstanding job, and energized the crowd, none of it could have been possible without Senior setter Atticus Graham. His determination on and off the court with his team is a true reflection of his character. Finishing the night with 34 assists highlights the genuine chemistry he has with each of his teammates and his ability to adjust easily. 

Pacifica Christian Boys Volleyball continues to build strong momentum as the season progresses, improving with each match and gaining confidence along the way. With each win, the Tritons are proving that they are hitting their stride at the right time and are prepared to keep pushing forward in the postseason.CIF-SS Round 2 for the Tritons will be on May 1, 2026 at 6pm against the Saints of St. Anthony in Long Beach.
