Boy's Volleyball swept Flintridge Prep on the road in three sets on Thursday night in the first round of Division Four CIF-SS Playoffs. The squad moves on to the Round of Sixteen and will face off against Xavier Prep at 11 AM on Saturday in the Triton Event Center.

The Tritons took the first set in a close 25-23 set. Flintridge then took a two-point lead in the second set, but the Tritons regained their footing and came from behind to secure a 28-26 win. Heading into the third set, the Orange and Navy took a heavy seven-point lead to begin the set. Flintridge Prep managed to lessen the gap but ultimately fell to the Tritons 25-20.

Heading into Saturday morning's match, Xavier Prep looks solid. Boasting an 18-6 overall record and a first-place league finish, the Saints took down Claremont High School in the first round of playoffs. The Tritons will come prepared with Senior Buzz Hodson hitting on the outsides and Senior Bennett Penticuff setting for the squad.
