Pacifica Christian Boys Soccer is on the path to a record-breaking season after winning their fourth straight game in a row. After just eight games this year, the Tritons are 5-3 and are 4-0 in Academy League play. This is the longest win streak in program history since its founding back in 2017 and up until this season, the Orange and Navy had never won more than three games in a row. This season, the Tritons are in a league with eight other teams, giving them a total of 16 league games throughout the season. The Tritons are currently sitting in second place in the league behind Samueli Academy who have one more win and are 5-0. 

The team played four games this week and picked up four wins, three of those being league wins. On Monday the team beat Vista Meridian 9-0 in their first meeting of the year. The next day the squad was back out on the field as they hosted Bonsall in a nonleague matchup. The Orange and Navy scored three goals in the first half and held on to the lead against the Legionnaires 3-2. Abraham Abbasi, Aiden Lynch, and John Peterson each found the back of the net while Lynch and Peterson also picked up an assist. Without a day off, the team was back at it on Wednesday when they traveled to take on the Southlands Christian Eagles. The team trailed 1-0 going into halftime, but off a pass from Aiden Lynch, John Peterson found the back of the net to tie things up. The Tritons were not done as Aiden Lynch was fouled inside the box and Abraham Abbasi stepped up and buried the penalty kick, giving the team the 2-1 win over the Eagles. 

After a well-deserved day off, the Orange and Navy were on the road Friday afternoon to take on Magnolia Science Academy in their fourth game of the week. Shaun Sandu was the first to find the back of the net for the squad off a cross from John Peterson. The Pirates responded tying the game up 1-1 going into halftime. With their undefeated record on the line, it was Colten Smith off a cross from Peterson who found the back of the net for the Tritons, giving them a 2-1 win over the Pirates. Shaun Sandhu, Dylan Streiff, Abraham Abbasi, John Peterson, and Aiden Lynch each have three goals this year while Shaun Sandhu leads the team in assists with four. 

When asked about the season so far Head Coach Johnny Marmelstein said "We have had probably the best week in the history of the Pacifica Christian Boys Soccer Team by winning four straight including one blowout win, one come-from-behind win, and two nail-biters where we had to find a way to win after giving up early leads. At halftime of Friday's game against Magnolia Science Academy, I told the boys, with the game tied at 1-1, that great teams and championship teams find a way to win. And my boys found a way to get it done. I am so incredibly happy for the team, especially for our assistant coach and alum Matt Samson, as well as our seniors who have seen the bleakest days in our program. To watch their joy and pride in our success is so incredibly fulfilling. But, we have more work to do. We're not finished making history."

The Orange and Navy have four games next week, three of them league games. The Tritons will host Cornerstone Christian in a nonleague matchup on Monday, December 11 at 3:15 at Vanguard University.
