Boy's Beach Sweep Cal High School to Improve to 4-1

The Pacifica Christian Boy's Beach Volleyball defeated California High School of Whittier 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon, to improve to 4-1 on the year. The visiting Condors entered the match 1-4, looking to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win against the Tritons. The Tritons have been playing some exceptional volleyball, defeating Crean Lutheran, JSerra, and Orange Lutheran the past few weeks, and narrowly losing to a tough Mater Dei squad 3-4.

"It is really great to see the team finding so much success so early on," stated first-year Director of Boys Volleyball Evan Fredericks. "I hope we can take first in league ( if MD drops a game) and bring home the first Beach Title in school history!"

The Boys are back in action this coming Thursday, October 20th, vs local rivals Capistrano Valley Christian at Newland Street in Huntington Beach. CVCS is coming into the match 2-3, and looking to finish .500 on the year and qualify for the postseason. This coming Thursday is also Senior Day, as the squad will recognize the eight seniors in the program: Will Carlson, Bryce Wang, Matthew MacPherson, Christian Hahne, Vincent Lorenzi, Jeremy Chun, Lucas Sullivan, and Jordan Gomez.

The first serve is set for 3:30 pm.
