Bio

Jonathan Pettibone is a former Major League pitcher who played for the Philadelphia Phillies (2013–2014). A Southern California native, he was drafted by the Phillies in the 3rd round (110th overall) of the 2008 MLB Draft out of Esperanza High School (Anaheim, CA) and developed as a dependable starting pitcher throughout the organization.

Pettibone made his MLB debut on April 22, 2013 and went on to start 20 big league games, posting a 5–5 record with a 4.45 ERA and 72 strikeouts across 109.1 innings. Before reaching Philadelphia, he earned recognition as a Florida State League Midseason All Star (2011) and led the league in innings pitched that season, showcasing durability and a team first mindset. In 2012, he continued his rise through Double A and Triple A, finishing 13–8 with a 3.10 ERA over 159.0 innings.
