The Pacifica Christian Baseball team returns to the field after a record-setting season last year. In the 2023-2024 season, just the third year of the program's existence, the Tritons finished the year 22-8 overall, advancing to the CIF-SS Finals, with one of the youngest rosters in history, starting only two upperclassmen. This year will be no different, as the Orange and Navy return all but one of the starting lineup, the majority coming from a strong sophomore class. 

The Orange and Navy will be led by Head Coach Beau Amaral, who enters his fourth year on the coaching staff, first year as the Head Coach. Chris Gomez and Todd Woddy both return as well as new additions of Daniel Amaral and Gio Brusa to the coaching staff. 

The Tritons return the dynamic pitching duo of Johnny Coopman and Jon Stone who are both juniors and will have a huge impact on the team. Coopman who was the San Joaquin League Player of the Year as a sophomore recorded a .69 ERA and batted .430 at the plate and is expected to lead on both offense and defense this season. The infield for the Tritons is young but talented including sophomores Blake Hayes, Rowen Gale, Scout Escobedo, Jude Dravecky, Josiah Miller, and Luke Miller. Keegan DeMots, the sole senior on the roster will be a leader for the Tritons both on the mound and behind the plate. DeMots posted a 1.19 ERA last season and will be in the starting rotation this season on the mound. 

In the outfield, sophomore centerfielder John Peterson returns, providing speed both on defense and offense. Sophomores Grayson Pierce and Mason Cropsey return to the roster as well as two new additions, Carter Canada and Taisen Morishita both freshmen. 

The Tritons remain in the San Joaquin League, competing against Western Christian, Webb, and CVCS, playing each team three times for a total of 12 league games. For the first time in program history, there will be a JV team. All home games will be played at OCC and Opening Day will be on Tuesday, February 25th.
