The Baseball team returns to the field for its third season after being launched in the 2021-2022 school year. The program is led by retired MLB player Chris Gomez who is entering his third season as head coach along with assistant coach Beau Amaral who returns for his third season as well. A new addition to the coaching staff this year is pitching coach Todd Woody who brings years of coaching experience to the program. When asked about the upcoming season Coach Gomez stated, "This group has been working hard since summer and they can't wait to get after it. We have a full squad of ball players and they are ready to make Triton Nation proud!"

Players to watch this season include Sophomore Johnny Coopman and Freshman Scout Escobedo. Johnny does it all for the Tritons, both offensively and defensively. Coopman was awarded first-team all-league last season and is a humble ball player with zero holes in his game. Escobedo is a name you want to remember. The freshman is a true ball player. He is the most advanced hitter for his age and can play all positions on the field at a very high level. 

All home games will be played at Orange Coast Community College, with the first home opener on Friday, February 23rd against Webb. The Tritons are young this year with only four upperclassmen. There are two seniors on the team, Will Glidewell and Sagar Hardy who will be honored at their last home game of the season.
