The winter sports season was an extremely successful time for the Pacifica Christian Athletic Department as not only did all four teams qualify for the postseason, but three of our coaches were awarded Coach of the Year for their respective leagues. Girls Soccer Coach Brandon Gonzalez, Boys Soccer Coach Johnny Marmelstein, and Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Berokoff were all awarded Coach of the Year. 

Head Girls Soccer Coach Brandon Gonzalez led his team to an overall record of 15-10-1 and went 4-4 in the San Joaquin League. This was his tenth year as head coach for the Triton Girls Soccer program, making him only one of two head coaches who have been part of Pacifica Christian since year one. Gonzalez led his team to a postseason appearance in Division 4, his sixth postseason berth since being head coach. 

Head Boys Soccer Coach Johnny Marmelstein led his team to the first ever league title in program history after finishing the season 10-7-3 and going 7-2-1 in the Academy League. This was his third year as head coach for the boys soccer program. Marmelstein led his team to his third consecutive postseason appearance under his guidance. 

Head Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Berokoff led his team to the Division 2AA CIF-SS Finals as well as his fourth league title in the San Joaquin League, third consecutive season. This was his tenth year as head coach for the Triton Boys Basketball Program, making him the only other coach alongside Gonzalez who has been with Pacifica Christian since year one. Berokoff led his team to an overall record of 23-9 and went 5-1 in the San Joaquin League and continued their streak of qualifying for the postseason every year.
