PLAYER SPOTLIGHTS – 2025 SHOWCASE
EMILIA KRSTEVSKI – Sr., Sierra Canyon
A 6'4" standout and Oregon Duck commit, Emilia is one of the premier talents in the nation, currently ranked among the Top 30 in her class. Representing Team Canada, she brings elite size, touch, and versatility—dominant in the paint yet equally dangerous as a shooter. Her all-around skill set makes her one of the most complete frontcourt players in the country.
KAYLA WATANABE – So., Orange Lutheran
A returning First Team All-League selection, Kayla has elevated every facet of her game. She's become a vocal leader and the emotional anchor of the Lancers, setting the tone with her relentless work ethic and consistency. With high expectations surrounding her growth, Kayla is poised to lead Orange Lutheran on and off the court this season.
VIVIAN VILLAGRANA – Sr., Pacifica Christian
A San Joaquin League First Team honoree and Third Team All-Orange County selection, Vivian is one of the purest scorers in Southern California. She averaged 19.2 points per game as a junior, shooting 37% from beyond the arc while adding 4.8 rebounds per game. A dynamic three-level scorer, she returns as the offensive engine for the Tritons.
JERZY ROBINSON – Sr., Sierra Canyon
Widely regarded as the No. 5 recruit in the Class of 2026, Jerzy holds offers from national powers South Carolina, LSU, and UConn. She is a back-to-back Gold Medalist with Team USA, a MaxPreps All-American, and the Los Angeles Daily News Breakout Player of the Year. An elite two-way wing with size, power, and skill, Jerzy is one of the most recognizable names in high school basketball.
SARAH ALDEGUER – Sr., Fairmont Prep
With the addition of 6'2" Mathis Dritz and 6'3" Aaliyah Mack, Princeton commit Sarah Aldeguer slides into her natural wing position—where her length, IQ, and versatility shine. Able to play positions 1–5, Sarah is Fairmont's ultimate Swiss Army knife, providing perimeter skill, interior toughness, and elite decision-making for a Huskies team with championship aspirations.
REENA WHITE – Jr., Brentwood
After earning First Team All–Gold Coast League honors as a sophomore, Reena returns as a steady two-way contributor. She averaged 9.8 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds per game while helping lead Brentwood to a 27–9 season and a CIF State Division I Regional Finals appearance. Her playmaking and poise make her one of the top juniors in the region.
BRIELLE MENDRANO – Fr., Bakersfield Christian
One of the top freshmen to watch, Brielle is already drawing early interest from multiple college programs. A knockdown shooter with deep range and unwavering confidence, she impacts the game with her motor, hustle, and basketball IQ. As she continues to develop, expect Brielle to become one of the most talked-about young guards in the state.
OLIVIA TALEON – So., Orange Lutheran
A returning All-CIF performer, Olivia made significant strides in the offseason to become a dependable two-way presence for the Lancers. Her growth, discipline, and ability to impact both ends of the floor make her a vital piece of Orange Lutheran's plans heading into the year.
LOGAN SCOTT – Sr., Brentwood
A dynamic senior guard, Logan has been instrumental in leading Brentwood to back-to-back league championships during her freshman and sophomore seasons. She was named Second Team All–Gold Coast League as a junior and holds the school record for most blocks in a single season. Her length, athleticism, and timing make her a nightmare matchup for opponents.
SAFIYAH SUGAPONG – Sr., La Jolla Country Day
One of San Diego's most electric point guards, Sugapong earned First Team All-League and First Team All–CIF San Diego Section honors. With offers from Cornell and Union, Safiyah affects every part of the box score. Her elite quickness, playmaking, and scoring ability make her the engine of La Jolla Country Day's attack.
MCKINLEY HANLON – Jr., Cathedral Catholic
A returning impact forward, McKinley earned First Team All–Western League and Second Team All-CIF honors after averaging 17.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. With career highs of 32 and 33 points, her scoring versatility and high basketball IQ make her one of San Diego's most dangerous players entering her junior season.
BIANCA SLOANE – Sr., Cathedral Catholic
A 6'3" senior transfer with multiple college offers, Bianca brings immediate impact on both ends of the floor. Last season at Rocklin, she averaged 16.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. A skilled inside-out scorer who can handle, pass, and stretch the floor, she creates matchup nightmares wherever she plays.
ANGIE MARTINEZ – Sr., (Pacifica Christian)
A dominant defensive presence, Angie anchors the paint with elite shot-blocking ability and interior toughness. She earned First Team All-League honors last season, averaging 6.3 rebounds per game while totaling 150 rebounds and 39 blocks. Her versatility on offense makes her a consistent threat to opposing frontcourts.
ATLANTA BASS-SULPIZIO – Sr., (La Jolla Country Day)
A 5'10" combo guard with size and efficiency, Atlanta earned First Team All-League and Second Team All–CIF San Diego Section honors. Known for her strong off-the-dribble game, court vision, and high-level decision-making, she is poised for a major senior season.
ADYRA RAJAN – Sr., Fairmont Prep
Ranked as the No. 3 three-point shooter in the nation, Adyra returns for her fourth varsity season as the Huskies' premier perimeter threat. A Harvard University commit, she brings leadership, experience, and one of the deadliest shooting strokes in high school basketball. Her scoring gravity and rebounding ability make her central to Fairmont Prep's success.
